September, October and first half of November

(this post was to be released in September but guess who was lazy again..)

From where should I begin with... beginning of September maybe? So... my school continued as usual when September started.

The picture below is from September 9th, when was very beautiful morning so I took the photo (:

..and these pictures are from September 13th, when was also beautiful, serene morning (sun shined and no clouds on the sky)

Then was my first term's exam week + matriculation examinations. It was a bit hard to read for exams + matriculation examination test at the same time, but luckily I had only 3 exams on exam week (exam week lasts always six days -or- five days + afternoon of some day). But then it was already September 15th, when I had my matriculation examination test. I started reading for it on July but somehow on that morning I wasn't even stressed as I usually am on exam day mornings (I had HUGE stress on previous Saturday hit my head to the wall).

But the main point: exam. You have six hours of time, own pens, rubbers, sharpener, ruler and unlimited amount of paper given by the school (people who made chemistry or geography (me!) that day had also book containing chemistry, physics and math formulas + calculator). You are free to leave the place after three hours but it's not sensible since you have those six hours + you have to paid about the exam. You can get a grade of A, B, C, M, E or L, when A is the worst and L the best. When I got predictive points of my exam, I got 22 points, which is on border of grades C and M. Last years you have usually got M with 22 points, but I still haven't got my final points yet. I think it's next week when I will got the final results are grade. I hope it went well!

Then the first term of this semester ended and the second one started. Nothing special happened during second term even though I broke my bike somehow again. No, this time it wasn't a wheel that blew out. It was a wire that goes from handlebar of my bike to back wheel axle, where is the gears. I leave it to repair and got it back next day so everything was OK then (:

This picture is from October 1st, when trees had full colours of autumn (I took this picture after I had left my bike to the repair and I was walking back home).

And this picture is from October 8th when there was amazing sunrise when I was leaving to school in the morning.

Sorry about the bad quality of two recent pictures, they were taken on my phone, an old (2011-model) Nokia :D

In the middle of October I had yearly autumn holiday and then I finally bought a new phone for myself :D   I had my Nokia 500 for almost three years (since Christmas 2011) and it was.... slow and not reliable anymore. I bought HTC Desire 610 for myself and it has been good so far. It is almost good as my laptop when talking about performance haha (;

Then it was time for second term's exam week and we will got grades of last term's courses on next Thursday, when we will also get our course exams back (:

It's been a bit cold lately here, it's almsot December already (: The last year in high school goes sooo fast when comparing to two previous ones. But it will feel much better when we 4rd grade students will start our own activities at the beginning on December.

When the cold weather arrived, I was on trouble with my bike again :(   My bike's gears froze so many times and last week I almost broke the gear selector on the handlebar of my bike. But yesterday it fixed somehow automatically and today it seemed to work well even though it was slippery everywhere. And last week we had also FIRST SNOW OF THIS YEAR. Yeah it already melted away but the feeling when it doesn't feel that dark outside (:

And today we made a school trip (most of our 3rd grade students) to Jyväskylä (big city located 43 kilometers far from this town), where is university and university of applied sciences. It was really fun even though when going there our bus was late and we missed the first lecture both in university and university of applied sciences.

Phew, it was quite long post haha :D

By the way, I had enrolment for military service on October 22nd and I said there that I want to go to civilian / non-military service. I got a letter at the beginning of this week saying that my 4-week-long "training period" in a training center locate din southern Finland starts on April 13th, 2015 and the actual civialian / non-military service starts on May 11th, 2015. I haven't found a working place for myself yet, but there's lot of time. I'm too shy to go to ask different plaes, maybe I will just send e-mails....

I started a blog about my civilian /non-military service at http://laurisivarissa.blogspot.fi/ but it's only in Finnish. Feel still free to use Google Translator. I will update both blogs while time
Have a nice November everybody!  (:

Update for a long time :)

~Love is in the air?~

Hello everyone, it's been  a while since my last post here. Unfortunately I almost lost all my motivation to do things like doing my homework and reading for language course's vocabulary tests. But now this semester's hardest term is over and there's only two weeks (8 schooldays for me) left before the summer holiday.

As I mentioned above, my summer holiday is almost here ;)  Weather conditions here have been kinda weird last weeks but today it's been sunny and temperature has been around 19 degrees since morning ;)

There's some pictures I took 26th April below:

Busy "school life" (edited 110720172129EEST)

Hello everyone!

I haven't updated my blog for a while because I have been so busy on this term. I have Swedish, English, Finnish, German, maths and P.E.

My term is so busy because I have:
-Swedish: tests about irregular verbs + vocabulary tests (we haven't had any vocabulary tests yet because our teacher isn't so "strict
-English: vocabulary tests + some research exercise
-Finnish: written tasks (I hate them..)
-German:vocabulary tests

This amount of schooowork is driving me crazy D: Luckily my schoolday ends at 1PM at Wednesdays :--)

Busy and lazy weeks

Hello everyone and sorry about this _very long_ delay D: I have been kinda depressed lately and on this week I have had things concerned to our prom and moreover I have been very excited about next week because then we have many special happenings :)

In the introduction I mentioned that I have been depressed. It's sad, but true and it's caused by math lessons where we have talked about propability calculus and that's one of those things in maths I'm not understanding. I have tried hard to do my homework but sometimes without any result. But last week we started to talk about things I understand and now I'm happier than ever during this (stupid) maths course ^~^

Other subjects have been OK, but I don't understand some things in physics course so I think I just go to ask help from the teacher :) I love physics lessons but those formulas are something.. argh. I already had english course's exam because that course was for candidates for the matriculation examination. It means that I have one exam less in the official exam week so I have "only" three exams on that week. Luckily that week's Monday (3-day-weekend, yay!) and Thursday are free days when I just can stay at home whole day (OK, not all day because I'm always visiting at school for lunch :3 ). And it's not long for our "winter holiday" which lasts for one week and then 5th term starts.

And our prom *realized that I haven't told about that* - I'm the another host there. I'm hosting it with one girl of same age and last week's Tuesday we were at their practises for the first time. On upcoming Monday we have dress rehearsal at the place where we have prom on Thursday evening and on Friday morning. In the Friday morning we are also on my school to performs those dances and later on that day we are going to eat at local "hotel" (it's kinda little and second of those two "hotels" we have here) but they make good food (I have heard). And on that evening we 2nd year students have our own parties outside the city and we have even a DJ there.

P.S. Here are some songs I have found lately :)

Beautiful winter days~

This winter has been very different than previous ones. We have only few centimeters of snow and it has been "warm" so all snow before Christmas has melted. But last 7 days it has been so cold all the time and now it finally feels winter even though here is not so much snow!  ^.^  Today it has been -22 degrees minus but luckily that's not the lowest temperature I have experienced in my life. :)

These photos below are from yesterday when I came back home from school/library. There was no clouds in the sky so it was sunny but cold. And now all places (e.g. trees and bushs/shrubs) are iced and that's very beautiful phenomenon  :)

P.S. I updated the banner of the blog, it's taken from the first of the photos above  :)

Finally weekend - and now it's already over (edited 110720172128EEST)

Hi everyone and sorry about this "long" silence - I have been too lazy to write anything here and I haven't visited outside with my camera since New Year's Eve. But now I finally decided to write something about last weeks.

I haven't been very busy on this term because I have maths, physics, Swedish, English, study guidance and P.E. We have 2 hours of P.E., 1 hour of study guidance and 6 hours of other subjects a week. On this term it means 27 hours / week for me which is not bad in comparison with next term when I have 32 hours / week (don't wait me to update this blog so much during the next term, please..). On English courses we have vocabulary tests and on Swedish we have tests about irregular verbs (luckily I was good at them on junior high school (: ).

But let's move to weekend even tough it's already over :/ . Today I visited outside with my camera because it was sunny (like on many other days on this week also). When I was walking I suddenly saw my friend with his dog. We both were bit surprised because we usually don't see each other outside school. Then we walked some distance and talked about all things "between ground and sky".

And here are these photos I took on my trip :)

Happy new week!
