Kaksi viikkoa kestänyt kesätyöjaksoni siis päättyi eilen. Vietin kaksi viikkoa työskennellen keittiössä 07-13.30 joka päivä vähän erilaisissa hommissa. Keittiön kokit olivat erittäin mukavaa ja avuliasta porukkaa, vaikka välillä kyselinkin jatkuvasti erinäisten tavaroiden sijaintia (toivottavasti kukaan heistä ei ärsyyntynyt minuun). Jokaiseen työpäivään kuului kuitenkin tiettyjä perusrutiineja, jotka oli pakko tehdä. Aamulla piti ajaa erään naispuolisen kokin kanssa ympäri tehdasaluetta viemässä ihmisten tilaamia pieniä lounasarasioita oikeisiin paikkoihin. Sen jälkeen palasimme takaisin pääkeittiölle, ja hoitelin tiskejä siinä välissä. Sitten laitoin ruokalaan ruuat tarjolle, ja pakkasin jakelukeittiölle meneviä ruokia kärryihin. Sen jälkeen roudasin hissillä kaksi kärryllistä kuumia ruokia alakerran lastauslaiturille, josta pakkasin ne kahden kokin kanssa autoon (tässä välissä huomautuksena, että olin töissä jakelukeittiöllä koko ensimmäisen viikon ja lisäksi toisen viikon perjantain). Sitten ajoimme kahden kokin kanssa jakelukeittiölle (ja istuin matkan auton tavaratilassa koska autossa oli vain kaksi istuinpaikkaa). Jakelukeittiöllä laitoimme ruuat esille, ja söimme siinä välissä ettei tarvitsisi mehdollisen kiireen sattuessa jättää ruokailua välistä. Ruokalan sulkeuduttua pakkasimme tavarat takaisin autoon, ja ajoimme takaisin pääkeittiölle, jossa hoidin vielä vähän aikaa tiskejä ennen kuin lähdin kotiin. Melkein kaikki päivät kuluivat tällä samalla kaavalla :)
So, my two-week long summer jobs ended yesterday. I spent two weeks working in kitchen 07-13.30 by doing little bit different jobs every day. Chefs in kitchen were really nice and helpful people even I sometimes asked location for items all the time (I hope that they didn't get irritated into me). There was some same chores every day which we always had to do. In the mornings I have to drove over the factory area with onether chef because we bring people's ordered foods to right places. Then we went back to main kitchen and I dealed with some dishes. Then I put food served to canten and packed some food to boxes (these foods were going to another kitchen in factory area). After that I transported food to ground floor via an elevator and packed them to car with two chefs (notice: I worked in another kitchen first week and second week's Friday). Then we went to another kitchen with two chefs (and I sat that trip in car's trunk because there was only two seats in the car). On another kitchen we put foods to display and ate immediately because we couldn't have eaten if there is a rush going on all the time. When the canteen closes, we packed items back to car and drove back to main kitchen (again) where I dealed with some dishes some time. Then I left back home. Almost all days went with this same plan :)

Tällä viikolla olen siis tosiaankin ollut kesätöissä tehtailla, ja vieläpä keittiössä! Okei, se ei ole ehkä paras paikka näin kuumaan kesäaikaan, mutta mielummin olen keittiössä kuin hikoilen ulkona suoraan auringon alla. Työaika on aamuseitsemästä puoli kahteen, mutta siinä ajassa ei kiireen vuoksi kerkeä yleensä taukoja pitämään kun pitäisi muutenkin olla tekemässä montaa hommaa yhtä aikaa. Vielä ensi viikon olen samoissa hommissa ja sitten loma jatkuu ;) Olisi kiva, jos olisi kuvia tähän mutta kun tehdasalueella ei saa turvallisuussyistä kuvata :( So, I have been at summer jobs on the factory area and even in the kitchen! OK, that's not the place in hot summertime but I prefer to work in kitchen than sweat outside under the straight shining sun. My working time is from 07.00-13.30 but I can't hold breaks because I'm always so busy in the kitchen and I'm always doing already many things at the same time. Tämä on viikko on ollut työntäyteinen, sillä taloomme tehdään salaojaremontti, jonka vuoksi laatoitukset ja osa terassista joudutaan purkamaan. Remontti alkaa heti juhannuksen jälkeisellä viikolla, mutta itse olen silloin kesätöissä, joten en oikein voi olla avuksi päiväsaikaan This week have been full of job because we have to make a underdrain renovation to our house and we have to demolish a part of our terrace and tiling. The renovation starts immediately at the week after Midsummer Day but I'm at summer job then so I can't help on daytime. Tämä viikko on ollut vähän epämääräinen, sillä on loma, enkä ole silti tehnyt melkein mitään järkevää. Olen vain käyttänyt aikaani tietokoneella olemiseen, ja välillä pihatöihin. Ja kahden viikon kesätöiden alkamiseenkin pitää odottaa vielä melkein kaksi viikkoa, en jaksaisi enää odottaa!
This week have been little bit "random" because I have holiday but I still haven't done almost anything wise. I have spent my time mostly on computer and sometimes doing some jobs at the garden. And there's almost weeks left before my two-week summer job begins. I can't wait anymore!
